[Event Report] "Anko de Jiyu Kenkyu" Held

On Friday, August 1, 2025, Adzuki Bean Day, we held "Anko Free Research" and welcomed 6 parent-child pairs!

We invited an adzuki bean farmer from Hyogo Prefecture, and the parent-child pairs enthusiastically engaged in quizzes about anko and adzuki beans.

"I love yokan!" "I eat ohagi a lot!"
Such "anko love" from the children warmed our hearts.

In addition, there were activities such as:
・Tasting and comparing adzuki bean kanoko from different regions
・Sampling adzuki tea made from Mikata Dainagon adzuki beans
・Enjoying the "sound of waves" by pouring adzuki beans into a sieve
・Playing with beanbags made from adzuki beans

I believe we were able to provide a time for people to "learn and feel about anko" while playing.

On the day, adzuki bean sweets manufacturers and staff from the Hyogo Prefectural Agricultural Extension Center also attended,
making it a warm and educational time.

Incidentally, this project was born out of a casual conversation during the #BloomingCamp Communication Day, while preparing for the evening anko sweets bar.
I am once again grateful for the connections and ideas that have expanded through anko.
