I've loved anko (sweet bean paste) since I was a child.

My grandmother's Akafuku and my father's Ote Manju souvenirs from his business trips were my absolute favorites.

As an adult, I became obsessed with Komeda's Morning C set (with tsubuan, coarse sweet bean paste).

Then, I started calling myself "Tsubuan" in an online community, and it stuck, becoming my business name when I started my company. Even though I'm an e-commerce owner.

When I exchange business cards, I'm often mistakenly asked, "Do you sell anko?"

Each time, saying "No, I don't sell it..." started to make me sad, so I decided to sell anko.

As I researched anko, I realized its charm anew, thinking, "Could this be the superfood of the Reiwa era...?!"

When I talked about it with others, I also realized that because it's so common, its appeal is surprisingly unknown.

"Then I'll spread the word!!!"

That's how it all began, with me deciding that and starting events and product development.

The possibilities of anko are endless.

My idol is Amélie, the protagonist of the French film.

My goal is to make the people around me happy with small, playful tricks involving anko.
